Hi, my name is Brandon Lim. I am fun loving guy who enjoy playing computer games during my free time. Some of the games that I am currently playing includes "Fortnite" and "Roblox". I also swim twice weekly to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Ever since when I am young, I was taught the importance of empathy by my parents. As a result, I participate in many VIA activities in order to help those in less fortunate situation. I believe in returning back to the society to my best abilities.
My interest in programming sparked off ever since I attended a workshop in 2019. The workshop lasted for a few weeks and it opened up my world to basic coding and apps creation. To further pursue my passion in programming, I have been trying to learn C programming on my own through a book called C Programming for Dummies. I am also intrigued by many Roblox game creators for their tenacity and creativity in creating games. This make me realized that the world of programming is very big and interesting with unlimited possibilities.

Achievements
NE Ambassador Programme (Bronze)-2018
I achieved a Bronze certificate upon completing the NE Ambassador Programme on 13 March 2018. It was a one day programme in which we were to travel to the Singapore Discovery Centre and attend a talk, while exploring the area and learn about the culture and history of Singapore.
Young Engineer Award(Bronze)-2018
My school organised a project for all Secondary One where we were to build a mini submarine that could could be controlled remotely. It was a two year project organised by our school. In the first year we completed a few parts for the submarine and was awarded the Young Engineer award given by Singapore Polytechnic.
Young Engineer Award(Silver)-2019
In the second year of the two year project, we were to build the remaining parts of the submarine and assemble the submarine. Upon completion we were to test it in the school's pond and test if it could function properly. Soon after we done with the project we were awarded with the Silver certificate of the Young Engineer Award.
G-Suite Enrichment Program-2020
I participated in a G-Suite enrichment programme organised by my school in which we were taught basic coding.Upon completion we were given a certificate.
